Three Wise Ostriches | Original Watercolour Painting | Contemporary Wildlife Art by Lily Clare

Curiosity, Character and a Touch of Humour

Three Wise Ostriches is an original watercolour painting that celebrates the wonderfully quirky personalities of one of nature's most entertaining birds.

With three expressive faces peering directly towards the viewer, each ostrich appears to have its own unique opinion. Their oversized eyes, textured feathers and inquisitive expressions create a playful composition that is impossible not to smile at. Inspired by the curiosity and comic charm ostriches display, this piece brings together detailed observation with a light-hearted sense of fun.

Hand painted using professional watercolours on archival-quality paper, the artwork combines loose washes with delicate brushwork to capture both the softness of the feathers and the distinctive character of each bird. The minimalist white background keeps the focus on their wonderfully expressive faces, making this a striking statement piece for modern interiors.

Perfect for wildlife lovers, contemporary homes and anyone who enjoys art that sparks conversation, Three Wise Ostriches is a joyful reminder not to take life too seriously.

Artist's Note
