Welcome to Lily Clare Art & Design ("Lily Clare", "we", "our", "us"). By accessing our website or purchasing products from us, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before placing an order.

1. About Us

Lily Clare Art & Design is an independent UK artist creating original artwork, limited edition prints, commissions and art-inspired gifts.

2. Products

Every effort is made to accurately display the colours and details of our artwork. However, colours may vary slightly depending on your screen settings.

As many products are handmade or printed in small batches, slight variations may occur and are considered part of their unique character.

3. Original Artwork

Original artworks are one-of-a-kind pieces.

Once sold, the artwork is marked as sold and will not be reproduced as another original.

A Certificate of Authenticity will be supplied where stated.

4. Limited Edition Prints

Limited edition giclée prints are produced in strictly limited quantities.

Each print is individually hand signed and numbered by the artist and supplied with a Certificate of Authenticity where applicable.

Once an edition has sold out, no further prints of that edition will be produced.

5. Commissions

Commissioned artwork is created specifically for you.

A non-refundable deposit (typically 50%) is required before work begins.

Reference photographs should be clear and of good quality to achieve the best possible result.

Customers will receive progress updates where agreed.

The remaining balance is due before artwork is dispatched.

As commissioned artwork is personalised, it cannot usually be returned unless faulty or damaged.

6. Pricing

All prices are shown in Pounds Sterling (£).

Prices may change without notice but will not affect orders already placed.

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout.

7. Payment

Payment is required before goods are dispatched.

We accept payment through the secure payment methods available on our website.

8. Shipping

Orders are carefully packaged to ensure safe delivery.

Delivery times are estimates and may vary depending on location and courier services.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery information.

We cannot accept responsibility for delays caused by postal or courier services.

9. International Orders

International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes or import charges applicable in their own country.

10. Returns & Refunds

Under UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, standard items may be returned within 14 days of receipt.

Returned items must be unused and in their original condition.

The customer is responsible for return postage unless the item is faulty.

Refunds will be processed after the item has been safely returned.

The following items cannot usually be returned:

• Commissioned artwork
• Personalised products
• Gift vouchers
• Digital downloads (if applicable)

This does not affect your statutory rights.

11. Damaged Items

If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photographs of:

• the damaged item
• the packaging
• the shipping label

We will work with you to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

12. Copyright

All artwork, images, designs, text and content remain the copyright of Lily Clare unless otherwise stated.

Purchasing artwork does not transfer copyright.

Artwork may not be copied, reproduced, scanned, printed, distributed or used commercially without written permission.

13. Image Use

We reserve the right to photograph or reproduce commissioned artwork for our portfolio, website and social media unless otherwise agreed with the customer.

14. Website Content

While we aim to ensure all information is accurate, we cannot guarantee that descriptions, prices or other content will always be free from errors.

We reserve the right to correct any errors without prior notice.

15. Privacy

Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We never sell your personal information to third parties.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lily Clare Art & Design shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from the use of our website or products.

Nothing within these Terms limits your statutory consumer rights.

17. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
