Some things are simply better together.

Featuring two characterful penguins standing side by side, this tea towel is reproduced from my original hand-painted Penguin Duet watercolour.

Printed onto quality 8oz Panama cotton and handmade in the UK, the design captures the expressive character and delicate watercolour detail of the original artwork.

A practical piece of art for the kitchen and a thoughtful gift for penguin lovers, couples, friends — or anyone who knows the value of having someone by their side.

Meet the Duet

There’s something rather wonderful about penguins.

Perhaps it’s the way they stand. Perhaps it’s their unmistakable black-and-white appearance. Or perhaps it’s because they always seem to have rather more personality than they ought to.

Penguin Duet began as an original Lily Clare watercolour celebrating companionship and togetherness.

Standing side by side, the two penguins make a charming pair, each with its own individual character but somehow looking exactly right together.

The original painting has been carefully reproduced onto 8oz Panama cotton, retaining the hand-painted marks, subtle tonal variations and character of the watercolour.

The result is a tea towel that brings a little art — and a couple of rather appealing characters — into the kitchen.

Because even the washing-up is better with good company.

A gift that's better together

Looking for an unusual gift for someone who loves penguins?

Penguin Duet makes a thoughtful present for penguin lovers and wildlife enthusiasts, but the relationship between the two characters gives this design another meaning too.

It's a lovely choice for a couple, partner, close friend or family member — a small celebration of those people we simply like having beside us.

Perfect for Christmas, birthdays, housewarmings and anniversaries, or as a thoughtful little present just because.

Pair it with another Penguin Duet gift or card to create your own Lily Clare gift set.
