Penguin Bone China Mug

Off on a little adventure.

There's something particularly endearing about seeing this little penguin disappearing into the distance.

Viewed from behind, flippers out and apparently heading somewhere with great determination, this wonderfully simple Lily Clare illustration captures the personality of the penguin with just a few expressive marks.

Reproduced against crisp white bone china, the predominantly monochrome artwork creates a clean, understated design that's full of character without feeling overly decorative.

Perfect for tea, coffee, hot chocolate — and anyone who has ever had a soft spot for penguins.

Art with a little personality

This design is a lovely example of what sits at the heart of Lily Clare: finding those small moments in the animal world that somehow feel surprisingly familiar to us.

A little determination. A little independence. And perhaps somewhere important to be.

Original art. Beautifully reproduced. Made to be enjoyed.

A lovely gift for…

Penguin lovers, bird watchers, countryside enthusiasts, animal lovers — or that person who is notoriously difficult to buy for but always appreciates something a little different.

Pair it with one of my coordinating wildlife gifts to create your own Lily Clare gift combination.
