Big Ears, Brave Heart – Limited Edition Elephant Giclée Print

Sometimes courage comes in small packages.

Big Ears, Brave Heart captures a young elephant facing the world head-on — enormous ears, steady gaze and just a hint of uncertainty.

Originally painted by hand in soft, layered washes of grey and blue, I wanted to keep the composition quiet and uncluttered, allowing this little elephant's expression to tell the story. There's vulnerability there, but determination too: that lovely moment when being brave doesn't mean you're not a little unsure.

This limited-edition fine art print has been created from my original watercolour, carefully reproducing the subtle washes, delicate tonal variations and character of the original painting.

A gentle piece about courage, growing up and finding your place in a very big world.

A limited edition to treasure

Produced as a limited-edition giclée print, Big Ears, Brave Heart offers the opportunity to own this Lily Clare artwork beyond the one original painting, while retaining the quality and special nature of a small fine-art edition.

For life's brave little moments

With its themes of courage, growing up and facing the world, Big Ears, Brave Heart makes a particularly meaningful piece for a nursery or child's room, a new baby or christening gift, or for someone embarking on a new chapter.

It's not simply a painting of a young elephant. It's a quiet little reminder that sometimes being brave simply means facing forwards.
